Mission & Vision

To spread the lifestyle of authentic Christianity for the glory of God and transformation of our cities.

At Vox Church, three core behavioral values shape the way we make decisions and practice our faith. These values inform and direct our church. We practice them when it's popular and when it's out of fashion. We filter everything through these core values.

We believe that Jesus is the centerpiece of human history. His life, death, and resurrection form the story that changes all of our stories. We have been brought back to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, not through our own deeds. God put all of our sins on Jesus so that all of Jesus' righteousness could be given to us. Living with Jesus at the center means that there is no compartment of our lives where He is not king. We serve others because Jesus served us. The grace experienced through Jesus is the fuel and power to live like Him. Colossians 1:15-20; Matthew 13:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 12:1-3

God exists in community as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Community is how God does things. Christians were intended to become more like Jesus together. Intentional community is all about doing life together on purpose. We believe that the maturity and growth of the believer is directly connected to ongoing interaction in a spiritually awakened community. Like a greenhouse, intentional community creates the best environment for growth. Ephesians 5:15-21;Acts 2:42-47; Phillipians 2:2-8

We have been changed to bring change. Authentic Christianity is always a river with inlets and outlets and never a pond. We will regularly and unashamedly sacrifice the comfort of our members for the opportunity to reach those far from God. We believe that all Christians are missionaries and priests, empowered by God to bring the life of Jesus to various segments of society. In partnership with Jesus, we seek salvation, justice, and God's favor over our city. Matthew 28:18-20; Jeremiah 29:4-7; Luke 15:1-10
