HURRICANE HARVEY REBUILD WITH SAMARITAN’S PURSE

Hurricane Harvey devastated much of Houston, TX and the surrounding towns in fall of 2017. Samaritan's Purse has set up their relief headquarters at Cross Point Community Church. It is from this location that they are serving and helping the local community rebuild. Tasks will vary depending on need, but construction experience is a plus.

About This Project
The objective of this trip is to support the mission of Samaritan’s Purse and further your walk with the Lord. Participation on this team will give team members the opportunity to serve through a local church to help with disaster rebuild efforts. Hurricane Harvey devastated much of Houston, TX and the surrounding towns. Samaritan’s Purse has set up their relief headquarters at Cross Point Community Church. It is from this location that they are serving and helping the local community rebuild. Tasks will vary depending on need, but construction experience is a plus.

What are the accommodations? We will be staying at Cross Point Community Church. Each person will have their own twin bed and will be required to bring sheets or sleeping bag.

What will we eat? All of your meals are provided by Samaritan’s Purse and are free of charge. Two meals (dinner when we arrive and dinner when we leave) will be incorporated into your total trip cost.

What should I bring? A complete packing list will be provided at an upcoming team meeting.

How many people will be going on this trip? Team size will not exceed 15 people, including team leadership. (7 males & 8 females)

What documentation will I need? Please check travel requirements. Some state IDs are no longer accepted as a valid TSA approved identification when flying.
