Text: Ephesians 6:10-18

1. Justin talked about “Concepts of Life” which is the story or narrative we see the world through. What are some concepts of life you have been taught, have heard, or made up yourself that you say to your family, friends, co-workers? (Example: Life is a race)

2. Read together Ephesians 6:12. Everyone has experienced schemes of the enemy you didn’t see coming like the loss of a loved one, a car accident, a divorce, broken trust from a friend. How have your reactions and handling of such days affected you spiritually? How have they affected relationships with your spouse, kids, friends, co-workers and neighbors?

3. Victory isn’t determined by how perfectly you put on every piece of armor, it’s determined by whose armor you put on. Too often we try and fight in our own armor and then we struggle along and feel like we are losing. In what areas are you fighting in your own strength? What are some ways to put on the armor of God for those areas?

4. Repeat this phrase multiple times as a group: “God’s power moves through you in proportion to your dependence on Him.” Take a few moments and pray for each other. Ask God to proportionately give His strength in the battles being faced both now and in the future, and pray for complete dependence on Him.
