With the current COVID-19 health crisis, numerous needs have come to our attention from our local community partnerships and city officials. As a church, we are looking to form two distinct teams to help coordinate efforts to help those in need right now both within and outside of our church. We are aware of the ever-changing nature of the status of mobility in our region and are working alongside local organizations and governing officials to make sure all we do is done within the recommended parameters and regulations. We recognize that this could change at any point, but we would love to help our communities while we still remain able to mobilize.
Here are the two ways our church is seeking to support relief efforts:
Care Team: focused on ways you can help from your own home through regular phone calls during this time to those that are most at-risk to get a greater understanding of current needs, provide encouragement, and prayer
Response Team: focused on mobilization efforts to help those in our community that are in need. This could include but is not limited to grocery runs, food bank distribution/delivery, etc. You must be in good health, under the age of 60, and without any pre-existing health conditions.
