Response to Covid-19

In light of the recent health crisis with COVID-19, Vox Church is making several changes to normal weekly and Sunday service operations. Following the recommendations of local, state, and national governing authorities, we are canceling church services at all physical campuses and moving all services online to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We will continue to monitor the situation week by week and will look to resume in-person gatherings as soon as we are able.

We are also taking the following steps to help serve and encourage the people in our cities during this time:

  1. Working with local agencies to serve their needs

Our Outreach and Missions ministry teams are working in all seven of our current cities to aid local organizations in providing relief to the community. If you are looking to serve with us, you can sign up for a team HERE.

  2. Partnering with other churches in our communities

We are reaching out to support other churches experiencing significant hardships due to restrictions on public gathering. Our heart is to see the local church continue to thrive.

  3. Streaming services online throughout the week for spiritual encouragement

Instead of meeting in public gatherings, we are streaming services online on Sundays at 10am, 12pm, and 6pm. We are also adding a Wednesday Midweek Service at 7pm. These services will be streamed on vox.churchonline.org, Facebook Live, and our YouTube channel.

  4. Repurposing our staff to make a difference in the lives of people in our church

Many of our staff have responsibilities that are focused on the Sunday morning experience. Because we are unable to meet in-person for the coming weeks, many of our staff’s roles have shifted to better serve the unique needs of our church in this season.

  5. Trimming expenses

Coronavirus is affecting everyone financially. We are committed to stewarding our resources well in this time of uncertainty. We are cutting back on non-essential spending and adjusting our budget to sustain our basic operations in the coming weeks.
