CG Questions :: Build the City :: Part 3
Who was in your “inner circle” growing up? Close friends? Family?
What part of the sermon this week did you enjoy the most?
In his sermon, Mike shared a story of him getting lost while hiking because of pride and unwillingness to reach out. Where in life do you have a hard time asking for help? Where in life is it easy for you?
Mike shared that faith is a major component of vision because something will always try to make us doubt our vision. When in your life have you wrestled with doubt over your vision or your identity?
Have you shared your vision with others? If so, what did it feel like to do that? If not, why not?
We heard in the sermon that one purpose of community is that it compounds our courage and strengthens our hands as we build our vision. Where in your life do you need encouragement from your community? What fears can your group help you tackle? Be open and allow your group to speak truth over the lies of fear.
