CG Questions :: The Rules of More :: Part 4
How did this sermon personally resonate with you?
We maximize our effectiveness when we stay in our lane. - Mike taught on there being a specific lane that God has called you to operate within. It is your “sphere of influence” based on a combination of your gifts, unique set of experiences and opportunities you’ve had, and the season of life you find yourself in.
Can you identify the lane God has called you to stay in?
Does that “lane” or sphere of influence orchestrated by God frustrate you? Or are you more like Nehemiah who really believed, "I am doing a great work and I can’t come down?"
Do you find being patient with the “seed planting” God is doing in your life (asking you to be faithful with this season as he prepares you for tomorrow) difficult at times? Why or why not?
Are there any areas in your life that you feel you are “overextended in”, beyond healthy limits? What healthy boundaries do you think you might need to implement? Spend some time praying together that God might give you the ability to live within these boundaries.
Do you trust that the limits God has asked you to live within are for your good and actually for your joy? Why or why not?
