Regional Baptisms are happening!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." - Matthew 28: 19-20

We are so excited to be hosting baptisms! Thank you for expressing an interest in baptism. We would love to help you get registered. As a church community, we look forward to coming alongside you as you take this next important step in your faith.

What is Baptism? 

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation that has already taken place, when you put your faith in Christ. Your old life has ended, and your new life has begun (Romans 6:4). We practice "believer's baptism", encouraging all those who have placed their trust in Jesus to obey Him through baptism. 

Baptism is Biblical

Jesus was baptized by being immersed in water and rising up out of it. Being submerged underwater represents our death to sin and old way of life, and being raised out of the water is a picture of how Jesus gave us a fresh start in life! Jesus models this for us in scripture and we are called to follow his example.  

"At that time, Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan." -Mark 1:9

What should I expect? 

On your baptism day, you will be asked to arrive early so that our pastors can walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have. They may also pray for you and ask you what following Jesus means to you.
