Text: Luke 6:6-11
Stretch - to extend beyond the borders of what you thought was possible.
1. Talk about a time when you were stretched and how God increased your dependence and trust in Him during that stretching?
2. God calls out to the man with the withered hand in Luke 6 and asks him to stretch. God always stretches those He calls because He cares. How do those two realities work together in your mind? What specific ways does it change your perspective about your life, circumstances, work, finances?
3. When you hear that God is eagerly looking for ways to bless you, what is your immediate gut reaction to that? How does that impact your attitude, thoughts, and actions in times of stretching?
4. God asked the man in Luke 6 to do something that was difficult for him to do. What is God asking you to do that is difficult for you? What impact did the sermon have on your response to God’s request?
5. God’s power meets us at the moment of our obedience. What next step of obedience in your life is God calling you to take?
