Text: Romans 12:3-8

1. Talk about someone that you admired growing up because of their giftedness? What is their gift that you admire? Why?

2. The definition of a spiritual gift is “a grace given to strengthen the faith of another”. How are you using your spiritual gifts to strengthen the faith of others?

If you aren’t sure what your gift or gifts are, go to https://voxchurch.org/myaccount and take the spiritual gift test.

3. Justin offered some tips to discover your spiritual gifts…

- God redeems your history so examine your past. Example: You might have lost someone in your past and can now use the gift of mercy for others who have lost someone. Is there anything in your past that reflects on the gift(s) you have today?

- God takes your natural abilities and amplifies them. Example: Peter was loud. God took that natural ability and used Peter to preach to thousands. What natural abilities has God amplified or could God amplify still in your life?

- God stirs your desires when you earnestly seek Him. Which of the spiritual gifts do you find yourself desiring most? Why?

4. Christ, who is the head of the church, uses His body, His people, to minister to others. Talk about a time when the body of Christ tangibly came alongside, supported, helped, or encouraged you or your family.

Take some time together to pray for each member of the group, thanking God for the spiritual gifts He has given them and for more opportunities to utilize their spiritual gifts to strengthen the faith of others.
