Text: James 1:22-27
1. Talk about a purchase you made that turned out to be counterfeit, fake, or different from what you thought it would be. What made it seem real at first?
2. James 1:27 says that holiness and helping those in need are the applications of pure and undefiled Christianity. Why do you think God chose those two?
3. According to John 1:12, the message of Christ is that all believers were once orphans and were adopted into the family of God. As you listened to the sermon this week, how did that connection resonate with you?
4. What stirred in your heart as you listened to Emily share her family's story?
