The Vox Church Special Needs Ministry exists to provide a welcoming, safe, and accessible environment for individuals of all ages and abilities to be included as full participants in the life and community of the church as they grow in the wonder of the gospel and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Statistics show that 50% of special needs families are not able to participate in church or church activities due to limited or no programming available for those with special needs. Through intentional planning, communication, and resources, we aim to provide inclusive support for individuals with special needs and their family members. Our mission is to provide individuals with disabilities and their families access to opportunities for spiritual investment, discipleship, and community.

VoxKids

We partner together with families to create a meaningful, supportive church experience for every child. We aim to make VoxKids more accessible and remove barriers that might otherwise keep someone from participating in church life.

Through our intake process, we identify each child’s unique needs and match them with the right level of support. Across all campuses we offer Tier 1 support, which includes basic program accommodations and individualized plans to help children thrive in VoxKids programming.

At our Anchor locations, we also offer our specialized Buddy Program that pairs children with trained volunteers for extra one-on-one support when needed. While some children may be paired with a dedicated Buddy, others may begin with Tier 1 interventions to promote success within the group setting. Our goal is always the same: to make sure every family feels welcomed, valued, and supported as part of our church community.

Night To Shine

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. We are blessed to be a part of this growing worldwide movement through the local church where thousands of people with special needs will be celebrated, given the royal treatment and reminded of God’s love for them!
