Text: Luke 5:27-32
1. Describe your favorite meal, including the drink, and who it would be with.
2. One of the reasons Christianity spread so fast is because Rome could not stop conversations around the table. Talk about an impactful dinner you have had with someone. Why was it impactful?
3. What are the reasons it seems that people have lost the gift of hospitality? What are the excuses that we come up with to not have people over?
4. Jesus saw hospitality as a way to heal a broken world. What connections do you see between hospitality and the gospel?
Jesus saw Levi. Jesus invited Levi. Take a few minutes, turn on some instrumental music, and quietly think through people in your life that you are around all the time that haven’t truly seen. After a few minutes, pray together for eyes to see and for the courage to invite. If you feel led, share the names of the people God has laid on your heart.
