TITLE: THE DOORS ON YOUR FACE
TEXT: JOHN 4:27-38 (NIV)
HOPE:
• Where have you seen God at work since the last time we met?
HEAD:
• Read John 4:27-42. The text picks up after Jesus finished his conversation with the Samaritan Woman. Take a few minutes to read through slowly and observe the text from 3 different viewpoints then discuss the following together:
○ Disciples: What was their response? What were they focused on?
○ Samaritan Woman: What was her response? What was she focused on?
○ Jesus: What was his response? What was Jesus focused on? What was Jesus trying to get the disciples to see?
HEART:
• Did you have any thoughts or questions from last week's sermon that you would like to discuss?
• Where In your life do you see yourself like the Disciples focused on LUNCH and unable to see what God sees?
Justin spoke about 3 Principles of the Harvest:
1. The Miracle of Multiplication - a single seed can produce much fruit.
2. The Necessity of a Plan - it takes intentional, repeated hard work and waiting for the seed to grow.
3. The Power of Partnership - each one laboring together produces a crop that glorifies God.
