Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3)
Hey parents! This week we dove into the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and their courageous decision to worship God alone. When King Nebuchadnezzar commanded everyone to bow down to a golden statue, these three men refused—even when it meant facing a fiery furnace. They trusted that God was able to rescue them, but boldly declared that even if He did not, they would remain faithful to Him. God was with them in the fire and ultimately rescued them. As you discuss with your kids, help them see that God is worthy of our trust and worship no matter what we face. Remind them that we can stand firm in our faith because Jesus promises to be with those who trust in Him.
