VoxKids believes that children can have an authentic relationship with Jesus and pursue him as Lord, even at a young age. We long to see children drawn to the wonder of the gospel and respond by placing their faith in Jesus and choosing to follow him.

You may be here because your child is asking questions about God, Jesus, or faith. Perhaps you're wondering how to share the gospel with them, or maybe you're exploring what salvation means yourself. Wherever your family is on its faith journey, we pray that these tools will equip you to share the gospel with your child and engage them in meaningful conversations about faith that, by God's grace, lead them toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Understanding the Gospel

One of the greatest privileges of parenting is helping your child understand God's rescue plan through Jesus. Use the resources below to begin conversations about the gospel, help your child grow in their understanding of God's love and grace, and — when they are ready — pray with them to receive Christ as their personal Savior.

The Good News

God created you, loves you, and made you for relationship with him.

Like every other person on earth, you have chosen your own way and lived apart from God.

You can never please God with your own good works or effort. Sin separates you from God. You need a Savior.

Jesus Christ gave his life on the cross as a sacrifice for your sins. He took the punishment you deserved. And on the third day God raised him from the dead, defeating sin and death forever.

As you confess your sin, turn to God, and place your faith in Christ, you are fully forgiven, fully accepted, and adopted into God's family.

Salvation & Baptism Milestone Class

Milestone classes are designed to equip families to guide their children toward a life of lasting faith. The Salvation and Baptism Milestone Class aims to equip parents to confidently guide their children toward salvation, baptism, and a life in Christ.

Each participating family receives a resource designed to support continued gospel conversations at home, spiritual growth, and preparation for baptism. Talk with your kids director for more information and to find out when your campus's next offering will take place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Scripture sets no minimum age. Jesus welcomed children and said the kingdom of God belongs to such as these (Mark 10:14). What matters is not a birthday but genuine understanding and genuine faith. Children mature at different rates — keep having gospel conversations, avoid rushing a decision, and trust the Holy Spirit's timing.

There is no formula, but there are patterns worth watching for — see our Conversations of Faith guide. None of these are requirements a child must earn their way through; they are evidences that the Holy Spirit may be at work. Reach out to your VoxKids Director anytime.

You are in good company, and you do not need all the answers. Start with “The Good News” on this page, use the Conversations of Faith guide, and watch one of the short videos together. It's fine to say “I don't know — let's find out together.”

Celebrate, then let us know using the button above. From there, keep discipling: read Scripture together, pray together, and begin talking about baptism as the next step of obedience. Your role hasn't ended — it has changed.

Doubt is not the opposite of faith, and it is a normal part of growing up. Rather than pointing your child back to how sincerely they prayed, point them to Christ — his death, his resurrection, and his promises, which do not change with our feelings. Your VoxKids Director would be glad to walk with you.
