Local Outreach

Springfield

Bringing hope and help to our cities.

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes everything and can transform people, families, neighborhoods, and communities. By connecting with local organizations and intentionally loving our neighbors, we desire to mobilize our church towards meeting some of the greatest needs in our community and sharing the hope we have in Jesus.

Focus Areas

Focusing our efforts to see greater impact in our city.

Families

Learn More

In comparison with other local towns and cities in Massachusetts, Springfield has higher crime rates, which often leads families away from the city. Our church wants to create events and support organizations that create opportunities for families in our city to thrive.

Initiatives:

·Hosting family-friendly events for the city

·Supporting local organizations supporting those experiencing poverty

Education

Learn More

In the 2020-21 school year, 15.5% of students dropped out of high school in Springfield. Studies have shown that mentorship decreases dropout rates and significantly improves academic performance. We want to support the upcoming generation 1 child and 1 family at a time.

Initiatives:

·Mobilizing mentors from our campus to support local organizations

      ·Supporting Springfield Public Schools

Economic Development

Learn More

Springfield is known as the region’s economic hub and academic center. With our church being located in the heart of the city, we want to be apart of ways to bring together young professionals and local businesses to continue to grow a passion and love for our city.

Initiatives:

·Support local missions work on the college campuses in our city

·Partner with organizations improving economic stability and increased job opportunities for all
